To celebrate Vietnamese Women’s Day on October 20, the SCI Group family hosted a warm get-together along with the flower-arranging contest titled “SCI – Floral Splendor” to honor the quiet yet invaluable contributions of our female employees. The occasion was filled with laughter and joy, leaving behind cherished moments of genuine camaraderie among colleagues.
When people think of SCI Group, they often envision bustling construction sites, fast-paced projects, technical drawings, and workloads that demand toughness and determination. Yet amid this somewhat “rugged” pace, the SCI family has always maintained a sense of balance and a fresh vitality. The source of that gentle touch is none other than the women of our company.
Our female colleagues embody not only tenderness and thoughtfulness, but steadfast resilience and the quiet attention to detail that lie behind every shared success. This October 20th, taking a moment to pause amidst the relentless demands of work, the SCI family gathered for a heartfelt celebration to honor the wonderful “other half of the world”.
Opening the celebration, Mr. Nguyen Cong Hung, Chairman of the Board of Directors -speaking on behalf of the Board of Management and all their male colleagues – extend his most sincere and heartfelt wishes to the women of SCI. His words conveyed not only warm affection but also deep appreciation for the efforts and sense of responsibility of female colleagues of the SCI Group. And to make the day even more joyful, in place of the usual well-wishes, the SCI family rolled up their sleeves and joined the minigame "SCI – Floral Spelndor". More than a celebration of beauty, the contest was a showcase of creativity and teamwork in true SCI spirit.
Starting with simple, rustic flowers and foliage, the teams, through their skillful hands and thoughtful care, transformed these elements into unique works of art, each bearing a distinct personal touch. Behind every floral arrangement lay not only a keen aesthetic sense but also bursts of hearty laughter and moments of collaboration, with team members huddled together to brainstorm ideas, delegate tasks, and carefully trim and arrange the blooms. The judges faced a truly challenging task in evaluating the entries and selecting the winning team. Ultimately, however, the greatest reward for everyone involved was the creation of priceless memories and the strengthening of bonds among colleagues.
Observing the entries in the competition, we can catch glimpses of the women of SCI themselves. Each flower has its own distinct beauty, every woman brings her own distinct strengths and personality—some sharp and decisive, others gentle and patient.
